  • When are tonsils removed?

    When there are recurrent tonsillitis episodes meeting clinical criteria, or when tonsils obstruct the airway (childhood sleep apnea).

  • Why does my child breathe through the mouth?

    Most commonly, adenoid hypertrophy. Important to evaluate because long-term it affects facial and dental development.

  • Do recurrent otitis require ventilation tubes?

    Sometimes yes, when persistent middle ear effusion affects hearing or episodes are very frequent.

  • Does my child need an accompanying adult during the consultation?

    Yes, parents or caregivers stay throughout the entire visit.
